In this multi-generational residential project, the client wanted a design aesthetic that blended her Indian culture with modern influences. Jamie incorporated clean, contemporary lines from notable brands like Pottery Barn and West Elm with Asian influences and treasured heirlooms from the client’s heritage. Among many innovations, Jamie thoughtfully designed a separate spice kitchen for the family in the garage—a traditional space in Indian culture, designated for cooking aromatic dishes like butter chicken and tikka masala. The original kitchen remained a gathering hub, creating a welcoming, harmonious space for all generations in the household.
